HIFIMAN Now Back from a Successful CES
The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is the largest show of its kind in North America and one of the largest in the world. It takes place in Las Vegas every January and this years‘ event broke records in attendance, number of exhibitors and square footage. Over 170k attendees jammed into the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) and surrounding venues such as the Sands and Venetian.
HIFIMAN had two exhibits. One in the LVCC South Hall where there is always a huge number of visitors. The other venue is a suite in the Venetian Hotel across town which features high performance, state-of-the-art products. HIFIMAN had a large number of staff in Las Vegas to make sure that visitors had an easy opportunity to learn about the company and its products and of course, to get auditions. Both the LVCC exhibit and the Venetian Suite were busy the entire show including the last day which is normally relatively quiet.

Edition S was originally previewed in the fall but is much closer now to delivery. HIFIMAN‘s first on-ear phone will be $249 and shipping in February. Light and comfortable, Edition S made many friends who enjoyed listening to it driven directly from HIFIMAN players.
A truly advance preview was in store for the HIFIMAN Shangri-La electrostatic headphone. This sneak peak was truly special and people were amazed at the headphone‘s lifelike detail and openness. Pricing and availability remain open but it is expected to rival the world‘s finest headphones ever made and will be priced accordingly. Shangri-La will be brought to upcoming shows this spring and we are confident you will be hearing much more about this exciting headphone during the course of the year.
